Conversation Area
This garden overlooks all the gardens in the front and side yards. The chairs may be turned around as the back yard develops, but for now, it is more interesting to look at the front yard.
I need to stain the deck again as it pealed over the winter. It rained after the stain was applied, so I believe that is what caused it to peal. The conversation chairs were purchased from overstock.com and I am very pleased with them so far.
The majority of the supplies needed to complete this deck were either free or recycled. The wagon wheel supports are metal and were painted black. We believe they may have been used on a tractor at one time.
We ran wire from the wheels to the top of the support so that the clematis has more of a surface area to climb. I anticipate the clematis will be spectacular in the years to come.
Glass insulators surround the half circle beds and annuals will be added to help fill in the bare spots.
